Each week we’ll endeavour to publish some details of the interesting things that members of DoES Liverpool have been up to over the past seven days. You can find out a bit more about them in our introductory post.
And remember, if you’re involved with DoES Liverpool at all, let us know what you get up to so we can include it here!
Things of Note
- Jackie Pease: Some photos from Plastic Tactics event yesterday afternoon @doesliverpool – they brought along a shredder to recycle waste PLA from the DoES Liverpool 3d printers #weeknotes pic.twitter.com/oNRdYDT4cz
- Mersey SEO: Popped into DoES Liverpool with MiniBoss while BigBoss at a meeting at The Royal – official verdict “This is the coolest office you’ve had Dad – but it’s a bit messy!” 🤣🤣 #weeknotes pic.twitter.com/rJEkiuOuyB
- Ross Dalziel: Planning the DoES Liverpool #Futuregazing event with Adrian McEwen on Friday 26th July from 6pm. All welcome to build a model of the future for your favourite co-working/makerspace #weeknotes feat. hacks of maker culture categories and symbols made by ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ & pizza pic.twitter.com/ylPQAhoViW
- Ross Dalziel: More details at github.com/DoESLiverpool/… #weeknotes
- Adrian McEwen: Temporary excess water routing system to keep the DoES Liverpool aircon running until an engineer can fix it properly #weeknotes pic.twitter.com/KxVmORLIWS
- MCQN Ltd: Somewhat sweltering, but otherwise meditative couple of hours spent sharpening one of the @doesliverpool chisels #FeltCutting #experiments #workshop #Maintenance #workshopMaintenance #tools #chisel #ibal211 #weeknotes pic.twitter.com/HYLXBizZLn
- Adrian McEwen: Have hung the #DoESPlotterQuote poster I made t’other weekend, in the entrance stairwell of DoES Liverpool #weeknotes pic.twitter.com/cA7qRtSdba
- MCQN Ltd: While it’s in DoES Liverpool it doesn’t make sense for the Electric Liver Bird to show traffic to the Liverpool Echo website, so we’ve added an #MQTT interface. Now it “fills up” with the space’s daily power usage
- Alex Lennon: Prophesy time: It’s becoming impossible for us to Google the information we need to get the job done. Simple stuff like installing v4.x which doesn’t work when we’re on v6.x. and the syntax has changed. Things will have to change soon in the world of search…. #weeknotes
