Each week we’ll endeavour to publish some details of the interesting things that members of DoES Liverpool have been up to over the past seven days. You can find out a bit more about them in our introductory post.
And remember, if you’re involved with DoES Liverpool at all, let us know what you get up to so we can include it here! The easiest way is to post on Mastodon – if we follow you there, just add #weeknotes to any post you want included. If you’re not on Mastodon but would like to be, chat to one of the organisers and we’ll help you get started. And of course, you can always just send us an email!
Liverpool MakeFest 2026
We had a great time at the rebooted Liverpool MakeFest this year, held in the Tapestry Building, with support from the LNF fund of our local Brownlow Hill councillors, Heather and Tom, and our landlord Jason (plus Jennie and Baylee). Thanks to organisers, volunteers and everyone who came along. If you’ve got any good photos, then please send them in (to hello@doesliverpool.com) or post to Mastodon, with hashtag #WeekNotes.
MakeFest After Party / DoES 15th Birthday Party
MakeFest was followed by the usual After Party, combined with another opportunity to celebrate DoES’ 15th Birthday Party – lots of cake (thanks Laura J and John C) and Karaoke. Here’s a few photos from Neil, but again, please feel free to send more.
