Each week we’ll endeavour to publish some details of the interesting things that members of DoES Liverpool have been up to over the past seven days. You can find out a bit more about them in our introductory post.
And remember, if you’re involved with DoES Liverpool at all, let us know what you get up to so we can include it here! The easiest way is to post on Mastodon – if we follow you there, just add #weeknotes to any post you want included. If you’re not on Mastodon but would like to be, chat to one of the organisers and we’ll help you get started. And of course, you can always just send us an email!
A Winters Boost
It’s time for the next round of our Boost membership scheme. If you could use 6 months desk or workshop membership starting 1st April, then find out more and apply here:
Things of Note
- michael:Some work #weeknotes on a fun, and not entirely resolved looking into some apparent memory corruption in Python as I hit stack limits in Yirgacheffe:https://digitalflapjack.com/weeknotes/yirgacheffe-progress-jan-26/
- Neil sent in this photo of Adrian, who was entertaining the crowds at the Festival of Data on Friday, during the Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas. As compere, he wowed the audience with his dazzling light beam that not only counted down the time on the talks but also acted as a clapometer.

- Jackie Pease:Spotted at the Festival of Data – @DoESLiverpool hotdeskers Mark and Warren with their respective daughters

- Jackie Pease:So much 3D printing in my recent data art project for the Festival of Maintenance last week.
Thanks everyone at DoES Liverpool for their patience.

- Jackie Pease:Also thanks Mike G for last minute help with assembly, @MCQN_Ltd for passing on their experience of LED column structure
