Each week we’ll endeavour to publish some details of the interesting things that members of DoES Liverpool have been up to over the past seven days. You can find out a bit more about them in our introductory post.
And remember, if you’re involved with DoES Liverpool at all, let us know what you get up to so we can include it here!
Liverpool MakeFest – Saturday 5th July
Less than two weeks to go until this year’s Liverpool Makefest! DoES Liverpool will be taking part as usual so please get in touch if you want to display your stuff on our stand or want to help out (Github issue here that you can add your details to).
Workshop Questionnaire
🎓💡 Got a skill to share? A topic you’re eager to explore?
📋 Please fill out our quick survey and help shape what comes next!👉 https://bit.ly/does-survey#DoESWorkshops
It would be great to have as many responses as possible before this weekend’s community meeting, so we can decide on some workshops to tell people about at MakeFest.
Hack the Space Day and Community Meeting – Sunday 29th June

Things of Note

- Alex: Sunday Morning #vibecoding. We made a Chrome browser extension to detect AI content in 10 minutes!
- Jackie Pease:I’ve been given a roll of hot foil and have been trying it out on some grey board in one of the heat presses @DoESLiverpool. So far, it does stick, but it is quite easy to peel off again. Anyone got any good ideas of what I can use it for? (Without going out and buying a load of hot foiling kit!).
