Each week we’ll endeavour to publish some details of the interesting things that members of DoES Liverpool have been up to over the past seven days. You can find out a bit more about them in our introductory post.
And remember, if you’re involved with DoES Liverpool at all, let us know what you get up to so we can include it here!
COVID-19
Click here for details of the of the measures we’re currently taking related to the COVID-19 situation, especially if you’re thinking of coming in to the space. We’ll be updating these to respond to the current opening up – make sure you’re following us via our Google Group, and/or via social media to keep up with any changes.
Things of Note
- DoES Liverpool: It’s goodbye for the moment to Yangshuo Liu and Jingwen Fu who are flying back to China tomorrow – with 4 weeks quarantine when they get there ☹️
We’ll miss them! (they’re hoping to visit again when international travel is a bit easier…)

We stuck one on the OTII while working out power budgets and were surprised at the results: 56uA when idle and 142uA when triggered #weeknotes pic.twitter.com/MdcEIn2Y08
- Jackie Pease: Here’s Kirsty Devlin 🚀 and Kirsty Styles (wearing one the hats Rebecca Little , @matthewcroughan and I decorated for the event using the DoES Liverpool vinyl cutter) at the Peloton Liverpool #joyride #weeknotes pic.twitter.com/oHRKV2yfku
- DoES Liverpool: Yesterday Rose and Mike G tested out the motor on Kath, the semi-industrial knitting machine being renovated @doesliverpool. It works! What a lovely sound… #weeknotes pic.twitter.com/kZSdz3pnta
