Each week we’ll endeavour to publish some details of the interesting things that members of DoES Liverpool have been up to over the past seven days. You can find out a bit more about them in our introductory post.
And remember, if you’re involved with DoES Liverpool at all, let us know what you get up to so we can include it here!
Twitter/Mastodon
As has been mentioned previously, we’re no longer able to collect our “Things of Note” automatically using the Twitter API. Please keep on tagging anything you want included from Twitter or Mastodon with #WeekNotes for the time being while we look for alternatives – ideas welcome.
One thing we’re aiming to do is use Mastodon more. If you’re a member of the DoES Liverpool community and want to join our instance (does.social) then get in touch for an invite. Any issues then just ask when you’re next in the space.
Things of Note
We're super-pleased to be welcoming another new engineer to the team @kettlecompanion. Shreya has come via @graduatelcr to look at Bluetooth mesh and Zigbee radio standards with us! #weeknotes pic.twitter.com/hmxQOuNh7w

Adrian McEwen Found some time to dig into why my embedded umap wasn’t working on the Indie Manufacturing website. Turns out it was a certificate issue. Now fixed. Yay!
Adrian McEwen We had a lovely group #InTheSaddle ride last night – out through the Mystery to Broad Green; onto the Loop Line heading North to Rice Lane rec; then over to Bootle for a brief refreshment at the Lock and Quay; then back along the Leeds-Liverpool canal.
