Maker Events
They’re informal, friendly events about building cool stuff and sharing expertise and enthusiasm

Maker Night runs every Thursday evening, from 7pm to 9:30pm, and Maker Day takes place on the second Saturday of each month from midday to 6pm. All our Maker Events are completely free to attend – you’ll only pay for any consumables you might use – and are the perfect way to dip your toes into DoES, and the Maker community at large.
They’re informal, friendly events about building cool stuff and sharing expertise and enthusiasm, and absolutely everyone is welcome, regardless of age*, experience or ability – just don’t blame us when you end up spending more and more of your time tinkering with things…
*You must be over 16 to operate some of our equipment alone, but younger Makers are welcome with a responsible guardian.
Maker Events are regular meetings organised by DoES Liverpool to provide a space for people to learn, experiment and work on projects related to Physical computing, Laser cutting, Arduino, Electronics, 3D printing…

DoES is an event hub, and host to both our own maker events, as well as available for community groups. To enquire about hiring Dinky, our smaller meeting room, or our events space, email us at hello@doesliverpool.com. The booking system for Dinky is here.
(The laser cutter calendars are Sophia the small and Gerald the Gigantic. Find out more at the Laser Cutter booking page on our Wiki.)
Become a Member
You do not have to be a DoES Member to use any of our equipment or services, should you wish to support what we do, for £10 a month you can become one.
Other than the warm fuzzy feeling you get from knowing that you are helping to keep the community going, we also offer our Members reduced prices on all of our services, and there are plans afoot for further benefits in the future.
For spaces like DoES that rely entirely on the community that use it to fund it, every little is invaluable, so if you think we're epic, and want us to continue to be so, please consider becoming a DoES Member today.
