Each week we’ll endeavour to publish some details of the interesting things that members of DoES Liverpool have been up to over the past seven days. You can find out a bit more about them in our introductory post.
And remember, if you’re involved with DoES Liverpool at all, let us know what you get up to so we can include it here!

- DoES Liverpool:Some pics from our open day last Saturday. Our guest of honour, Lord Mayor of Liverpool Barbara Murray, along time friend of DoES Liverpool, joined in Liz’s sashiko class and Andy Green’s printing from a laser cut woodblock, before speaking to stallholders who’ve started out at DoES Liverpool, including Norrska and David Rycroft Design.
#WeekNotes - DoES Liverpool:Our visitors were able to enjoy taster sessions including Mike G’s introduction to the laser cutters and Liz’s sashiko class in the Fibre Arts Room.
#WeekNotes - DoES Liverpool:Following a community meal with delicious walnut cake made by John C’s mum and apple crumble made by Jess with apples from Mike G’s garden, we had talks from Siobhan, Paul and Kirsty, before the obligatory Karaoke (we don’t seem to have any photos of that yet!).
A great day all in all – thanks to everyone who took part.

Shred plastic. Blend it. Meld scraps together with a heat gun. Make sheets. Laser cut it. CNC it. Stitch potato bags together with soldering iron? Make fabrics with a regular iron? What have we got, what can we make? We don’t know – let’s figure it out! Facilitated by Plastic Tactics – follow on social for the latest updates, and to see what we make if you can’t be here in person: |
