Week 743 – Open Day and Visit From the Lord Mayor

by | Sep 1, 2025 | Weeknotes | 0 comments

Each week we’ll endeavour to publish some details of the interesting things that members of DoES Liverpool have been up to over the past seven days. You can find out a bit more about them in our introductory post.

And remember, if you’re involved with DoES Liverpool at all, let us know what you get up to so we can include it here!

Open Day

We had an excellent open day and will be collating all the photos during the next few days – keep an eye on our social media! In the meantime, here’s a photo of most of the team, with the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Barbara Murray, standing in front of Mike G’s VLR (very large rug).

Open Day Group Shot.

Thanks everyone for all your hard work, and please send in your photos from the event.

Things of Note

  • Adrian McEwen:In my lunch break I nipped over to the mini-roads where #PelotonLiv are teaching a load more kids to ride.I was there because one of the kids said they liked doing videologs at home. I’ve lent them my GoPro, bike mount and wireless mic, and left them riding round filming things. They’re going to come to Maker Night at @DoESLiverpool tomorrow evening and we’ll edit the footage down on the massive telly.📹 🚲
