Each week we’ll endeavour to publish some details of the interesting things that members of DoES Liverpool have been up to over the past seven days. You can find out a bit more about them in our introductory post.
And remember, if you’re involved with DoES Liverpool at all, let us know what you get up to so we can include it here!
DoES Salon – The many faces of OpenStreetMap
We’re kicking off the new DoES Salon events with a look at the myriad of ways we can use OpenStreetMap to help us make maps, and ways to use the data it holds.
Adrian McEwen will be telling us what OpenStreetMap is, showing the different types of maps you can get from it, and taking a deeper dive into how you can add to it or use the data for more complicated tasks.
Find out more and let us know you’re coming.
Birthday Open Day + Workshops + Party – Saturday, 30th August – Save the Date
We’re celebrating our 14th birthday with a full day of workshops, activities, and a party to celebrate – and, to showcase our members’ talents, ideas, and the community we’ve built together, a mini maker faire. It’s the perfect chance for new faces to experience the energy and creativity in the space. Please save the date !
We’re also looking for stall holders, volunteers, workshop hosts, helpers, and creative ideas to make it all happen. Whether you want to run a session, lend a hand, or just be there to welcome people, we’d love to hear from you!
