Each week we’ll endeavour to publish some details of the interesting things that members of DoES Liverpool have been up to over the past seven days. You can find out a bit more about them in our introductory post.
And remember, if you’re involved with DoES Liverpool at all, let us know what you get up to so we can include it here!

The Big Move
Did you hear, we’ve moved to The Tapestry, just off London Road. We’re open for business, but while we’re settling in we’re including a brief update on how things are going each week.
As you can see from some of our tweets, the main space is beginning to look really good: the floor has been scrubbed and varnished, cabinets, work surfaces and desks have been installed, and a lot of the equipment is back in working order. Plywood flooring and painting in the metal workshop have now been completed, and we’ll be moving cabinets and CNC machines in there over the next couple of days.
Next target is Room 29 (the “quiet” room for coworking and permanent deskers). Again we’re aiming to varnish the floor, but fortunately it doesn’t have the same layers of paint as in the main space, so shouldn’t take as long.
If you want to help out, check the DoES Move The Tapestry and DoES Move – Settling In labels on the Somebody Should issue list, or get in touch. All help appreciated and thanks to everyone for their work in getting us this far.
