Create your own fabric patches with a sewing machine!

Let’s get creative by making our own fabric patches (with a sewing machine!) which we can take home and add to our clothing to jazz up!

Want to upgrade your old items, or maybe want to mend them in a snazzier way? Then, how about coming along to this fun and creative workshop where we will be making our own fabric patches with a sewing machine!

You will learn how to create your own fabric patches using templates provided, then once confident, you can draw and create whatever you want in fabric patch form – teapot, flowers, animals, whatever you want. Scarlett will be on hand to help.

You will also learn the various ways to layer textiles and how to sew them with a normal sewing foot, as well as a free motion foot too.

Not only is it planet-friendly to upcycle as you’re prolonging the life of your older clothing, but you will leave the workshop feeling confident to carry on upcycling your textiles at home!

Experience in using a sewing machine is needed. All equipment and materials will be provided; however, if you have any images or fabric scraps you want to bring, then bring them along too.
