We are located in Liverpool City Centre, just up London Road in the The Tapestry Building on Kempston Street.

Opening hours

Mon-Fri: 9:30 – 17:30 (core hours)

Nearest stations:

Liverpool Lime Street  (10 mins walk)

Liverpool Central (15 mins walk)

By bus:

10 mins walk from Queens Square bus station

Parking:

There are plenty of car parks in the city center but we don’t have any recommendations for long term parking and highly recommend using public transport where possible. After 6pm the roads around the Tapestry are free of charge for parking.

Cycling:

We are expecting to provide sheltered cycle parking in the yard outside The Tapestry building. For now you are welcome to bring bikes up the stairs into the main space.

If you have questions about the general goings-on at DoES Liverpool and within the community we have a public Google Group which acts as our mailing list on which most of our community conversation occurs.

Bookings & Specific Questions

To book a visit or if you have specific questions for the organisers the best way to get in touch with us is through email, or if it’s during office hours you can try popping by in person.

NB:

  1. The first day for any hotdesker at DoES is free when you bring cake, or another shareable item of your choice. Surprise us, it’s a cake kind of place!
  2. DoES’s core hours are 9:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday, a half day is counted as either 9.30am–1.30pm or 1.30pm–5.30pm
  3. Out of hours access is available for a deposit of £50 or £150 depending on which areas you need access to. This gives you 24 hour access to the space.
  4. All our services are offered on a pay-as-you-go basis, no contract, start and stop as you need.
  5. If you want to set up a recurring payment, then please email us for details, or use the bank information found here.

Maker Events are regular meetings organised by DoES Liverpool to provide a space for people to learn, experiment and work on projects related to Physical computing, Laser cutting, Arduino, Electronics, 3D printing…
