Each week we’ll endeavour to publish some details of the interesting things that members of DoES Liverpool have been up to over the past seven days. You can find out a bit more about them in our introductory post.
And remember, if you’re involved with DoES Liverpool at all, let us know what you get up to so we can include it here!

The Big Move
Did you hear, we’ve moved to The Tapestry, just off London Road. We’re open for business, but while we’re settling in we’re including a brief update on how things are going each week.
As you can see in the photos above, the space is really starting to take shape now. Things have been laid out in the metal workshop; there’s a door back on the accessible toilet (and both toilets have had a good clean now they’re in use more as office toilets than “building site” toilets); all of the internal doors have been sanded, ready to be painted; and work has started on sorting out the internal windows.
There will be plenty of people coming to see the space during the Fabric District Festival at the end of the week (from Jelly Liverpool on Thursday for the launch of the festival, and then at Maker Day and Arduino Day on Saturday), so getting the space looking awesome before Thursday would be good!
If you want to help out, check the DoES Move The Tapestry and DoES Move – Settling In labels on the Somebody Should issue list, or get in touch.
