DESCRIPTION:A 4 hour Introduction to 3D Printing workshop on the first Saturday of each month.\n\n\nWe’ll cover the following topics:\n\n\nBasic components and operation of a filament 3D printer\nFilament materials\nApps for creating and editing 3D models\nOptimising designs for print\nUseful sites for downloading existing models\nPost-print and complementary processes\nTips\, tricks and common problems\n\nThe course assumes general computer skills\, and experience withme forms of computer graphics is very helpful. Attendees will require their own laptop and an SD card (full size) for transferring files to the 3D printer.\n\nBy the end of the course\, attendees will be able to create their own basic designs and use the 3D printers at DoES Liverpool.

DESCRIPTION:Let’s jazz up your wardrobe by bringing in your clothes to give them a fresh new look at our Snazzify your clothing and accessory event! \n\n\n  \nCome join us at DoES Liverpool for a fun few hours of revamping your wardrobe! Got clothes and accessories that need a little TLC? Bring them along\, and let’s mend and upcycle them together. \nA range of fabrics (including tea towels!)\, trimmings\, buttons and beads will be provided\, however if you have anything you want to bring to snazzify your garment with\, bring them along too! \nYou will learn how to apply textiles onto your clothing in creative ways as well as learn some basic hand sewing techniques like running stitch and whip stitch – everything you need to ensure your scraps stay onto your clothes. \nNot only is it planet friendly to upcycle as you’re prolonging the life of your clothing\, but you will leave the workshop feeling confident to carry on upcycling your clothes at home! \nPrevious sewing experience is not necessary as this will be taught\, and all equipment and materials will be provided.
